Inese Puriņa, Civil Society Development Expert, and Inga Remerte, Project Manager, have joined the cal .

Inese Puriņa, an expert on civil society development, will assist the CAL Director in planning and organising the CAL's activities, with a particular focus on civil society development issues. Her responsibilities include monitoring projects in this area, working with stakeholders, and developing the Society's digital solutions.

Inese has been working at the CAL since 2019, initially as Programme Manager for the Active Citizens Foundation. At the end of the programme, Inese takes on her new role as an expert on civil society development, continuing to contribute to the growth and strengthening of civil society.

Project Manager Inga Remerte's main tasks at the CAL are the development of project implementation and monitoring plans, setting objectives and targets, coordinating the team, managing risks and communicating effectively with stakeholders. 

The Project Manager prepares regular progress reports, analyses results and facilitates project improvement processes.

Inga has gained her professional experience as a lawyer in municipal institutions and as a supervisor of employees of state and municipal institutions. 

In the NGO sector Inga has been working for more than 10 years as a volunteer in the Association of Families at Social Risk, both as a support person and in the organisation and coordination of activities for the target group. Inga has also worked for Zemgale NGO Centre as a project coordinator, as well as managing activities in the field of civic participation. In the Active Citizens Foundation programme Inga supervised projects.
