The conference "Partnerships for Democracy, Development and Peace", organised in the framework of the Latvian Presidency of the Council of Europe, is approaching. The conference will take place on 12 September 2023 at the Saeima building in Riga. However, on 11 September, the opening discussions on artificial intelligence and digital demorcracy are planned. 

The conference will discuss topics such as: regional security challenges and the impact of crises on the sustainability of democracy, enhancing the role of local and national civil society organisations at international level, social resilience - a tool for inclusive, safe and sustainable local communities.

The conference is organised by the Civic Alliance-Latvia in cooperation with the Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation, the State Chancellery and the Latvian Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in the framework of the Latvian Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
