The Civic Alliance – Latvia is joined by a new colleague – Diāna Kristiņa, who will take on the role of Administrative Manager of the “Civil Society Fund” programme. Her responsibilities will include coordinating the programme’s administrative processes, ensuring documentation and monitoring procedures, as well as fostering cooperation with involved stakeholders to promote effective implementation of the programme and achievement of its objectives.
Diāna has more than eight years of experience in the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of projects of various scales and complexity in public administration, the non-governmental sector, and in cooperation with businesses. She has gained experience in project management throughout the entire project lifecycle – from fundraising and project development to implementation of monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of results. In her professional work, she is particularly interested in initiatives that promote regional development and the introduction of sustainable, practically applicable solutions.
Alongside her work in project management, Diāna is actively involved in community development processes. She is a board member and project manager of the association “Donedange,” where she coordinates initiatives aimed at strengthening local communities, promoting civic participation, and encouraging public engagement.
Diāna holds a professional master’s degree in business administration from the Business School “Turība” and a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Latvia. She continuously updates her professional knowledge in project management, data analysis, procurement, and climate change, and has also acquired skills in the use of artificial intelligence tools in professional practice.
