Meeting of members
The supreme decision-making body of the Society. A member of CAL shall have the right to take an active part in promoting the objectives of CAL, to form working or interest groups, to participate in the administration of CAL in accordance with the procedure laid down in the Statutes, to receive information on the activities of CAL, to submit proposals on the activities of CAL and its improvement, to freely express and defend his/her opinion. Members also have the right to approve the annual report and the financial statements at the members' meeting, to elect the CAL Council and to participate in the development of the CAL Strategy, defining the priority areas and tasks of CAL.
CAL Board
The decision-making authority, acting between the meetings of the Members. The Board shall be elected by the general meeting of members. The CAL Board (composed of five members) has a strategic, advisory and supervisory role in the development of the organisation.
CAL Office
Implement activities to achieve CAL's Purpose, Strategic Priorities and Vision, adhering to CAL's Values and Code of Ethics for Societies and Foundations, CAL's Conflict of Interest Guidelines, and the CAL Employee Quality Standard.
CAL Director
Ensure the implementation of the decisions of the Members' Meeting and the Board, recruit staff and organise the day-to-day running of the office. The CAL Director is responsible for the implementation of the CAL Strategy and decides on the payment of expenses incurred in the performance of the work of persons employed to assist the Director in the implementation of the Strategy. CAL's annual budget shall be drawn up by the Director and submitted to the Board for consideration, and the Director shall prepare a financial activity report and accounts in accordance with the legal provisions.
