On 9 April, the Latvian National Library will host a conference in cooperation with the European Accessibility Resource Centre "AccessibleEU", organised by the foundation "Association of People with Disabilities and their Friends "Apeirons"" together with the foundation "Latvian Judicial Training Centre". The aim of the conference is to share stories of experiences in court, as well as the perspectives of legal representatives on the future challenges when a person with disabilities is a party to a case. As an integral part of the conference, the results of the project "Universal Design for Human Rights" will be presented and materials developed both for people working in the justice system and for people who go to court to defend their rights. You can register for the conference here. The conference programme can be found here.
