From Brussels to Kuldīga: CAL visits this week

From January 29 to February 1, CAL Director Kristīne Zonberga visited Brussels as part of the Latvian Team Europe visit to discuss current issues on the European agenda. The visit was organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Latvia in cooperation with the European Commission Visitors' Centre. The visit covered issues such as asylum and migration, the war in Ukraine, energy, relations with China and the Middle East, as well as meetings with representatives of the European Commission and the European Parliament.

On Friday, February 2, CAL Director Kristine Zonberga and Policy Coordinator Līna Putāne led a seminar on social impact and its management in Kuldīga. They explained how to measure social impact, why it is important to do so and shared information on several methods of measuring social impact. Representatives from the Kurzeme NGO Centre and the Kuldīga Senior School participated in the seminar.
