Brand, AI and communication: workshops in April to strengthen NGO capacity

The Civic Alliance – Latvia (CAL) will organise online seminars in March and April to strengthen the skills and capacity of NGOs. You can apply here.

Workshops in April: 

● On 10 April at 10.00 a seminar "AI - what it is, how it works and how to use it in the work of NGOs" will be led by new media and digital marketing expert Artūrs Mednis. The seminar will include an introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Big Language Model (LLM), followed by examples of different tools. 

● On 18 April at 11.00, the seminar "Personal brand in the digital environment and LinkedIn mini-workshop" will be led by Kristīne Mennika, Head of Corporate Communications at Bites and Board Member of the Latvian Association of Public Relations Professionals.

● On 23 April at 10.00 a.m. seminar "How, why and with whom to communicate with NGOs?" will be moderated by public relations expert Ieva Treija. Participants will learn to understand the differences in communicating with different audiences: 

The target audience interested in the issues that the NGO advocates for; 

the media; 

the general public.
