The Civic Alliance – Latvia (CAL) invites non-governmental organizations to be active and give their opinion in surveys conducted by the EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA), the European Commission and the Society Integration Fund (SIF).
1. The European Commission's 2024 report on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights will focus on funding for the promotion, protection and implementation of fundamental rights in the EU. In order to gather the views of the non-governmental sector, FRA and the European Commission are jointly conducting a survey on the funding experiences of civil society organisations. The survey can be completed here until April 30. The opinions provided by the organizations will help to understand the added value of European Union funding in fundamental rights, as well as to highlight areas that require further development. The results of this survey will be reflected in the FRA document and included in the European Commission's annual report on the Charter of Fundamental Rights for 2024.
2. It is planned to introduce regional incubators within the framework of the European Union Fund project "Support for the growth of civil society organizations". The aim of such incubators will be to provide support to associations and foundations, strengthening their capacity, growth and promoting the improvement of the NGO environment, cooperation and involvement in civil dialogue. In order to find out the opinion of non-governmental organizations about the planned activities of the incubator and take the first steps in the incubator development process, SIF invites organizations to participate in the survey here until April 16.
