With the support of the Center for Residents of Riga Neighborhoods, in the project "Know more, do more" implemented by "Tavi draugi", Ukrainians living in Riga had the opportunity to meet, exchange experiences, gain knowledge to promote inclusion in the Latvian labor market, develop their creative skills and get to know the history and culture of Latvia a little closer heritage together with other residents of Latvia. Within the framework of the project, five widely attended lectures were held - seminars on data protection, consumer rights protection, labor law and business and taxes, as well as a master class for developing speech and communication skills.

In total, within the framework of the project "Know more, you can do more", 28 activities were held under the leadership of both Latvian and Ukrainian instructors, including conversation and board game evenings, photo orientation, an excursion to the Barricades Museum and various creative classes. Around 400 people of different nationalities attended all activities, some of them repeatedly.

Renāte Grundštok, representative of the "Tavi draugi" association: "While implementing the project "Know more, you can do more", we have reconfirmed that, in parallel with receiving practical help, it is important for Ukrainian nationals in Latvia to learn the specifics of our labor market, to fit in, as well as to learn more about our history and culture. We are grateful for the opportunity to implement the unity project and provide the much-needed non-material support. We are also touched that new talents have emerged in creative activities and established their own traditions, such as knitting evenings, a book club, various weekly master classes, which will definitely continue."
