On 22 September, Kristīne Zonberga, Director of the Civic Alliance - Latvia, met with the representatives of the Skola2030 (School 2030) school project and other representatives from civil society organisations, local governments and state institutions to discuss the “Project Work” secondary school course, in the framework of which students will develop a project work, such as research, creative or community work (including volunteering) in relation to one of the subjects they will study in depth.

Representatives of Skola2030 presented the project work curriculum - planned objectives and results to be achieved, while representatives from civil society organisations, local governments and state institutions provided feedback on the concept, shared experience and recommendations.

The Civic Alliance - Latvia confirmed its willingness to participate in the development of the curriculum and methodological recommendations (on the study process, organisation, cases in point), as well as to contribute to the implementation process by offering to develop the project work in the Civic Alliance - Latvia and inviting other organisations to get involved in order to promote civic activity, including the involvement of the youth in volunteering.
